The intent is to help you save money by detailing the strategy we used to find the item, where we ultimately purchased it, the price we paid and the savings.
February’s score of the month is from Wolford. The brand is the gold standard for legwear and bodysuits, which are often seen worn by celebrities. Lesser known is the rest of their ready to wear collection which includes dresses, trousers, skirts, tops, sweaters and blazers. At Luxe Brand Deals we are big fans of Wolford, as the quality is outstanding. It is quite expensive, but we know that it can often be found at attractive discounts.
In this case, one of our associates was intrigued by the Blouse Effect Blazer. But not for $870.
This item has the look of a blazer, but due to its performance fabric feels like a luxury version of some of our favorite athleisure items from Alo and lululemon.
The best part about shopping for Wolford items is that the best place to go for discounts is the brand’s website. In-store discounts are not as substantial, which we confirmed on our recent trip to New York City. Wolford inventory at the luxury department stores and the online discount sites is really hit or miss, and rarely features some of the interesting ready to wear items.
Historically, the Wolford website has not been the most shopper-friendly site, resulting in many frustrating searches through pages of inventory. Thankfully, Wolford has been making substantial improvements, so you can quickly filter by product category, price, etc. It also has an easy to find Sale page which features curated sections by category, discount level and other highlights (i.e. all items 80% Off).
We found the Blouse Effect Blazer in store in New York City and tried it on to confirm the right size. In this case a 36 (Wolford uses European sizing) which translates to an XS. From there, we waited until the product went on sale. A couple weeks later we it did go on sale at an attractive 50% discount, but that still meant $435. We decided to wait. After a couple more weeks the discount increased to 75% and we pulled the trigger.

Final sale price - $217.50
Percent savings = 75%
Total savings = $652.50
At $218, this updated classic will provide years of comfortable versatility. Time spent shopping was minimal and we saved $652!
